Instructions (these
instructions are good for all tuning forks) Hold your tuning fork by the stem (Make sure that your fingers only touch the
stem) between your thumb and first finger (you can also add your middle finger). Do not apply a lot of pressure. Gently tap
the weights on your knees, or use the rubber mallet. This will set the weights (or prong, if used without weights) in motion
to create a clear, deep and sustained tone. Bring the double-pronged side of the fork about an inch from your ear(s) and
adjust the distance for volume. You can also place the tip of the stem on the body. This is particularly effective on the
skull, wrists, elbows, knees and ankles. Acupuncture points can be stimulated by the vibration, without the use of needles.
This provides a very healing effect . Some people have been clearing their headaches rapidly by placing the fork on the eyebrows
area. Deep relaxation is also chieved by placing the vibrating fork on the Third Eye. Used without weights, the forks will
produce a more audible sound but will not transmit the vibrations as well through the body. If you have two forks, use
them simultaneously for enhancing the healing effect of the vibrations and for obtaining overtones. The forks can be used
without weights to produce a more audible tone. To change the pitch, just unscrew (using fingers) the weights and retighten
them to a lower position, but make sure that they are parallel.
